How do I remove a device?

For the utmost security, it is a good idea to remove any old or unused devices from your multi-step verification account. While removing a device will mean nobody can verify using it, if you have the Duo Mobile app installed on a phone or tablet it will remain until you manually remove it from the device.

  1. Access any multi-step verification protected page, such as the Personal Information page in OMNI HR
  2. Click My Settings & Devices
    Click my settings and devices

  3. Verify using an existing device and method
    Verify
  4. Scroll down and find the device you wish to remove and click Device Options
    Select a device

  5. Click the trash can icon
    Click trash can

  6. Click Remove to confirm you wish to delete this device
    Click remove
