How do I set up multi-step verification?

Most users have the phone numbers associated with their OMNI HR account as of June 14, 2016, automatically configured as devices that can receive verification phone calls. When you access a page protected with multi-step verification, such as the Personal Information section in OMNI HR, you will see a different page depending on how many devices you have registered.

No devices registered

If you do not have any phone numbers associated with you in OMNI HR, you will see a page like the one below and will be prompted to set up multi-step verification on your account. Click Start setup and follow the instructions to add a device.

One device registered

If you have only one phone number associated with your OMNI HR account, you will be given the option to verify via Call Me or Enter a Passcode. If you are unsure what phone number is listed, click Call Me to see the last four digits of the registered phone number at the bottom of the verification box. If you do not recognize this number, call the ITS Service Desk at 850-644-HELP(4357) for assistance. If you have access to the phone number listed, you can follow the instructions to add another device.

Two or more devices registered

If you have two or more numbers associated with your OMNI HR account, you will see a dropdown menu that lists each number with the last fou digits displayed. If you do not recognize any of the numbers, call the ITS Service Desk at 850-644-HELP(4357) for assistance. If you have access to one of the phone numbers listed, you can follow the instructions to add another device or remove an unnecessary device.
