How do I reset or change my FSUID password?

*IMPORTANT: Remote Work Employees*
If you are an FSU employee working remotely, please use a university-owned computer to reset your password. If you are unsure if you are using a university-owned computer, contact your department IT representative. Then follow the steps below.

If you know your password and need to change it: 

  1. Go to https://my.fsu.edu
  2. Enter your FSUID and password and click Sign In
  3. Locate the myFSU Links and expand the myFSU Identity Management section located on the left-hand side of the portal 
  4. Click Change Password 
  5. You will be prompted to enter your current password and the new password 

    6. The confirmation screen to go back to the myFSU portal or return to the main FSUID Management page will appear 
  6. After you reset your password, follow these instructions to update your password on all your devices

If you have forgotten your password and need to reset it:

  1. Go to https://my.fsu.edu
  2. Click Manage FSUID/Password and then Proceed 

  3. Enter your FSUID or EMPLID, then date of birth

  4. Next, you will be prompted with the following screen, select Change Password
  5. You will need to answer two security questions to proceed and then click Continue
  6. You will now be able to enter a new password and click Continue 
  7. You can go to the confirmation screen to go back to the myFSU portal or return to the main FSUID Management page
  8. After you reset your password, follow these instructions to update your password on all your devices

If you know your password and need to change your security questions:

  1. Go to https://my.fsu.edu
  2. Enter your FSUID and password and click Sign In
  3. Locate the myFSU Links and expand the myFSU Identity Management section located on the left-hand side of the portal 
  4. Click Update Security Questions 

    5. Please note that the option to set your own security questions is available from the last item in the drop-down menu.

  5. When the security questions have been successfully submitted, you will see the confirmation screen where you may go back to the myFSU portal or return to the main FSUID Management page.

  6. After you reset your password, follow these instructions to update your password on all your devices
